It felt like I went back in time to where things were simple and good. No fuss or fancy, just good quality food at a fair price. The steak was spot on both in seasoning and temp. The fixins were just right. I'm glad I chose here and not the fancy steak house. This place brings back great memories of how our country used to be.
Highly recommend for a great steak dinner. Many of the menu items are homemade and it makes all the difference! Place was very busy but our waitress didn’t slow down and took great care of us!
They steak was to die for. I ordered the 10oz filet medium rare with sauted mushrooms and Cajun butter. It was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. The mushrooms alone were amazing. I will definitely be back!!!

One of the best steaks I had in a long time! Don't let the surrounding neighborhood deter you. The area is not bad at all, just a little run down. The restaurant is an old log cabin in excellent condition. 100% top notch with a pure Texan atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly. Most of the food is cooked using mesquite including the vegetables so it is all very flavorful. We definitely will be eating here every time we visit Wichita Falls / Sheppard AFB. If you are visiting for your Airmen's graduation this is a must stop. Only 10min from base.

Valentines Day 2023, was the first time I've ever been here. We had a great dinner, the service was very good, and the facility was clean. I had the prime rib, and it was cooked perfectly. My Valentine had the Rib Eye and it was cooked perfectly as well. We split a side of their delicious saluted mushrooms, with our steaks you better make sure you try them out, their very good as well. The baked potatoes were on point, tender and hot. The dinner salad was fresh and the lettuce was crisp. It was a great meal and even better special Valentines day dinner for us. I assure you, we will be back there again soon.
What an absolute GEM of a Steakhouse I loved the Old Timey Log Cabin Decor and the cool dark setting Steak was perfectly cooked and I was surprised by how tasty and juicy the fried zucchini was .... Dipped in ranch dressing of course... DUH
